RELAXATION
MASS RELXATION MOMENT on this Friday, 9th October
Enjoy a mass relaxation moment on this Friday, 9th October
with many thousands of folk on BBC Radio Solent at 11.30am with me on Jon
Cuthill's programme. A few moments just to stop and be.
Solent is having a Stress Down Friday all day, covering many issues relating
to stress prior to World Mental Health Day which is being held and discussed
over the weekend.
I have the great privilege of taking you through a relaxation routine of
a few minutes which will give you the opportunity to notice tension and relaxation
in the body - feel the difference and from that observation be able to release
tension and feel more relaxed. You will then be able to use it whenever necessary.
Anyone will be able to join in whether in the comfort of their own home, sitting
at their desk, in the car, at work or play. Be amazed at how great you can
feel.

Yoga for Backs

This 2 hour workshop is specifically for people who have
or have had neck, shoulder or back problems.
This is gentle and informative Yoga.
Is this familiar? - neck, shoulders or backache? Muscles tight; tummy muscles
not as good as they were, poor posture????
If any of these seemfamiliar Yoga may help you onto the road to recovery
and strength by stretching and toning the muscles helping them to become more
supple and relaxed. Yoga is recommended by most Doctors, Physios and Chiropractors.

Laughteryoga

Laughteryoga is suitable for all ages. We will be exploring ' laughing for no reason' with simulated laughter exercises and looking at why laughter is the best medicine; how it can be incorporated into your life and the vast health benefits it gives you. You will also find out about the history of the Laughter Movement.
Childen's Yoga classes
The benefits of Yoga are enormous for children of all ages. Yoga
helps to keep the body supple and strong, helps to develop concentration
and stimulates creativity.
And it goes beyond improving coordination, balance and flexibility. It enhances
a feeling of Well Being and self esteem. Yoga practise needs concentration,
encouraging the mind to focus on one thing and helping to bring a sense of
clarity. Such skills are useful for the ability to learn inside and outside
of school. Yoga can help to control the body when agitated or lethargic,
boost energy and also calm the body and mind. It can help to improve self
confidence and self image.
The Yoga techniques used are designed to maximise each person's potential
for good health. Starting Yoga when young gives children the best foundation
for life.
I am expanding my children's classes due to the enormous popularity of Yoga.
YOGA FOR ALL

sense of Well Being. There will be an opportunity for exploring asanas
of your choice.
Yoga special offers:
• If you bring a friend to class you BOTH have one class free of charge when you book for the half term.
• If you have been coming to class and paid for one term prior to going on holiday, you have 2 free holiday weeks. These weeks can be taken separately.
• Have a 121 Yoga class and bring a friend for free.
RELAXATION COURSE
Thursday 1.45-2.45pm. A 4 week course that teaches you different ways of relaxing that you can use whenever you need to. This is separate from Yoga and we sit down for this in chairs! Please enquire for a different date if the present one does not suit you.
